The implementation of contextual teaching and learning (CTL) in teaching vocabulary
The english teaching and learning is still dominated by teacher centered approach. As a result, students have problems to understand academic concepts. Therefore the teacher shouuld shift their teaching to learner centered approach by using Contextual teaching and learning (CTL). The research method used is quantitative method.The research conclude that CTL is able to improve vocabulary mastery of 5th grade students of SDN Tangkil
