An Analysis of Learningstyle Use by Students in Speaking English at Tenth Grad of MA Nurul Qolbi
Learning styles show the preference manner of students in learning something, analyzing students‟ learning style can help the teachers to be able to identify the learning style of their students. It also helps teachers to be able to use the suitable method in teaching. The objective of this study is to identify What kind of learning styles used by students in learning English. The subject of the study and title “An Analysis of Learning Style Used by Student in Speaking English†was the tenth grade students of MA Nurul Qolbi especially class Xa Which consists of 25 Students, they are 10 male and 15 female. The research method used is qualitative research. thernresult of the study were no student has grade very poor and poor with their learning style, 2 of Students or 8% who have Visual/Verbal Learning Style of MA Nurul Qolbi at tenth grade had fair speaking, 5 of Students or 20 % who have Visual/Verbal. Learning Style had good speaking, and 1 of Students or 4% who have Visual/Verbal had very good speaking. 2 of Students or 8% who have Visual/non Verbal LearningrnStyle grade had fair speaking, 5 of Students or 20 % who have Visual/ non Verbal Learning Style had good speaking, and 1 of Students or 4% who have Visual/nonrnVerbal Learning Style had very good speaking. And 2 students or 8% who have Auditory/Verbal Learning Style of MA Nurul Qolbi at Tenth grade had goodrnspeaking. It could be concluded that students with Auditory/Visual Learning Style perform speaking better than any other learning style viewed from the mean of scorernof their speaking.
