STUDI GEOKIMIA REGIONAL ALTERASI DAN MINERALISASI PADA PROSPEK MINERALISASI X NUSA TENGGARA TIMUR
Kemajuan metode eksplorasi mineral membuat tingginya tingkat kepercayaan geologi dalam skala regional untuk menemukan indikasi potensi cebakan mineral ekonomis. PT. ANTAM (Persero) Tbk, - Unit Geomin melakukan eksplorasi geokimia dengan metode Bulk Leach Extractable Gold (BLEG) dan Stream Sediment -80# yang didukung oleh data geologi di daerah X, Flores, Nusa Tenggara Timur. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdapat 10 jenis litologi, yaitu Andesit Porfiritik, Breksi Monomik, Breksi Polimik, Diorit, Diorit Kuarsa, Granodiorit, Lava Andesit, Monzonit Kuarsa, Tuf Ash, Tuf Kristalin. Berdasarkan hasil analisis ASD (Analytical Spectral Devices), penelitian dapat dibagi menjadi 4 zona alterasi utama, yaitu: Zona Argilik Lanjut, Zona Argilik, Zona Propilitik serta Zona Potasik. Terdapat 4 zona mineralisasi, yaitu: Zona Covelite-Bornite-Chalcocite-Pyrite, Zona Pyrite, Zona Pyrite-Chalcopyrite dan Zona Pyrite-Chalcopyrite-Covelite. Kehadiran Alunite, Kaolinite, dan Pyrophyllite mengindikasikan terbentuknya endapan epitermal sulfidasi tinggi di utara daerah penelitian. Kehadiran Phlogopite-Hornblende, MgChloriet, dan FeMgChlorite, serta stockwork epidote-chlorite- magnetite dengan k-feldspar dan veinlet epidote-chlorite mengindikasikan sistem porfiri di bagian tengah – selatan daerah penelitian. Daerah anomali unsur Cu menunjukkan hubungan dengan kehadiran mineral pembawa Cu seperti chalcopyrite, covelite, chalcocite, dan bornite. rnrnThe progress of mineral exploration methods has made high levels of geological trust on a regional scale to find indications of the potential for economical mineral deposits. Based on the results of the study there were 10 types of lithology, namely Andesite Porphyritic, Monomical Breccia, Polymic Breccia, Diorite, Quartz Diorite, Granodiorite, Andesite Lava, Monzonite Quartz, Tuf Ash, Crystalline Tuf. Based on the results of the ASD (Analytical Spectral Devices) analysis, the study can be divided into 4 main alteration zones, namely: Advanced Argillic Zone, Argillic Zone, Propylitic Zone and Potasic Zone. There are 4 zones of mineralization, namely: Covelite-Bornite-Calcocyte-Pyrite Zone, Pyrite Zone, Pyrite-Chaloprite Zone and Pyrites-Chaloprite-Covelite Zone. The presence of Alunite, Kaolinite, and Pyrophyllite indicates the formation of high epidermal sulfidation deposits in the north of the study area. The presence of Phlogopite-Hornblende, MgChloriet, and FeMgChlorite, as well as epidote-chlorite-magnetite stockwork with k-feldspar and epidote-chlorite veinlet indicated a porphyry system in the central - southern part of the study area. The anomalous elements of Cu show a relation with the presence of Cu-carrying minerals such as chalcopyrite, covelite, chalcocytes, and bornite.,
