Teaching Reading Using Running Dictation Technique
Reading is very important for all people in the world. Reading is one of the important skills which has to be learned and can’t be separated from learning process. The students cannot achieve their academic succes without comprehending reading, so good method is needed to help students to learn reading well. The objectives of this research entitled “Teaching Reading using Running Dictation Technique†is to find out whether or not teaching reading using running dictation technique can improve students’ reading comprehension. In this research the writer used quasi-experimentaldesign and quantitative method. The instrument of this research was the reading test. The population of this research was tenth grade of MA Nurul Falah Cimahi in academic years 2015-2016 and the sample was entire population. The data of this research were collected by giving the reading test to students sample data were analyzed using SPSS. The result of the research shows that Asymp.(2-tailed) is 0.005 and lower than 0.05. It mean the result of this study confirm the previous that the running dictation effective to improving students reading comprehension.
