This study is aimed at knowing the relationship between vocabulary abilityrnand listening comprehension on 4th semester English Department in STBA JIArnBekasi. The population is 87 students and the sample is 30 respondents. Thernimplementation of the research was conducted from February to August 2020.rnThe methodology of the research used is quantitative method with correlationrntechnique. The steps of the research include: (1) Identify, choose and formulaternproblem, (2) Arrange the term of thought to prepare all things needed in thernresearch, (3) Formulate the hypothesis, (4) Design the question of the test, (5)rnAssess the test. After completing the research, the data were analyzed usingrnstatistic technique with Product Moment Correlation formula to find the result ofrnthis study. It shows that the robserved was 0.862 and the rtable 0.306, it means thatrnrobserved ≥ rtable .Thus, there is positive correlation between vocabulary ability andrnlistening comprehension.
