Communication is an activity that is usually carried out by living things. Not onlyrnhumans, but animals and even plants communicate in different ways.rnCommunicating is often associated with interaction, both communication andrninteraction are two different things. Interaction is a type of action that occursrnwhen two or more objects affect or have an effect on one another. This idea of arntwo-way effect is important in the concept of interaction, as opposed to a one-wayrnrelationship to causation. Whereas communication is "a process when a person orrnseveral people, groups, organizations, and society create and use information tornconnect with the environment and other people". In the research under study, therernwere 16 (sixteen) data from second level utterances with a percentage of 53.3% ofrnthe 30 data contained in the moana movie. And on the other hand, there are 14rndata from first level-based utterances with a percentage of 46.7% of the 30 datarncontained in moana movie. In general, communication is done verbally orrnverbally which can be understood by both parties. In practice, these two things arernused in everyday life. Often times, when we communicate with our speechrnpartners or listeners. We don't pay attention to the speech we pronounce but thatrndoesn't become a barrier to understanding one another. In a speech there is thernsmallest unit called utterance.
