This research aims to figure out the similarities and differences of the meaning emotion vocabulary fear in Anne Frank’s autobiography through analysis of meaning component. The theory used to achieve such an objective is Nida’s theory (1975) of meaning component and essential emotion component theory by Ekman (2003). The research used a qualitative descriptive method.
