(Skripsi) Pengaruh motivasi kepala Dinas terhadap kinerja pegawai di Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang kota Cirebon
The research that the author conducted was the Influence of The Motivation of the Head of Office on Employee Performance in the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of Cirebon City. In this research, the research used a quantitative method. The techniques of collecting the data in this research were observation, data collecting, interpretation of data, and the result of this research using number. The problem that the author did was that the Performance of Employees in the Office of Public Works and Spatial Arrangement of Cirebon City has not been optimal, allegedly the problem is caused by lack of motivation by the Head of Public Works and Spatial Planning of Cirebon City. The research question asked, is there an influence on the motivation of the Head of Office on Employee Performance. The hypothesis proposed by the author is as follows "It is suspected that there is a positive and significant influence between the motivation of the Head of Office on Employee Performance in the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of Cirebon City". From the hypothesis can be formulated statistical hypothesis, namely: H₀ (Hypothesis Zero) count ≤ table, then the formulation of the problem is "There is no positive and significant influence of the motivation given by the Head of Office on Employee Performance in the Office of Public Works and Spatial Arrangement of Cirebon City." And Hₐ (Alternative Hypothesis) ) count > table, Then the formulation of the problem is "There is a positive and significant influence of the motivation given by the Head of Office on the performance of employees in the Office of Public Works and Spatial Planning of Cirebon City". In the research obtained that the motivational results of the Head of Public Works and Spatial Planning Cirebon was quite good, but less applied as seen from the success of the motivation of the Head of Office which reached 64.7% with a total score of 5,902 and employee performance was quite good but not optimal as it reached 67.4% with a total score of 5,129. The implementation of the motivation of the Head of Office has a close influence on the performance of employees in the Office of Public Works and Spatial Planning of Cirebon City with a p-value of 0.024 < 0.05, then Ho rejected Ha accepted. So that there is a significant positive influence between the variable motivation of the head of the office on the performance of employees in the Office of Public Works and Spatial Planning. Adjusted R Square is 0.755, indicating that variable contribution X is 57%, while the rest is 43%. Thus H0 (Hypothesis Zero) was rejected and Ha (Alternative Hypothesis) accepted.
