Citra kota merupakan kesan fisik yang memberikan ciri khas kepada suatu kota. Dalam pengembangan kota, selain berperan sebagai pembentuk identitas kota, citra kota juga berperan sebagai penambah daya tarik kota. Dengan demikian, citra yang jelas dan kuat akan memperkuat identitas dan wajah kota sehingga membuat kota tersebut lebih menarik dan memiliki daya jual. Citra untuk suatu kota dibentuk melalui proses perencanaan yang matang oleh pihak pengembang dengan tujuan dapat menarik masyarakat, tidak hanya untuk datang/berkunjung, tetapi juga untuk tinggal/menghuni kota baru tersebut. Kota Baru Kota Deltamas telah direncanakan oleh pihak pengembang untuk memiliki citra sebagai Green City. Walaupun citra tersebut telah direncanakan, akan tetapi citra kota itu sangat terkait dengan persepsi masyarakat sebagai target pasar dari citra yang direncanakan. Dengan demikian, kesimpulan yang dapat diambil bahwa citra kota baru Kota Deltamas berdasarkan konsep green city yang terbentuk belum sepenuhnya menerapkan konsep green city karena dari hasil peneliti baru terdapat 5 atau 30% dari tolok ukur yang terpenuhi sebagai green city, sedangkan berdasarkan persepsi masyarakat baru terdapat 6 atau 40% dari tolok ukur.---Image of the city is physical impression that characterize to a city. In the development of the city in addition to acting as the city`s identify forming the image of the city also acts as an an addition to attractiveness of the city. Thus the image clear and strong will reinforce the identify and faces the city to make the city more attractive and selling power. Image of a city is formed through a process of careful planning by the developer with the aim to attractiveness the public, not to come or visit only,t also to live or inhabit the new city. Deltamas new town was planned by the developer`s own image as a green city. Although that image has been planned, but the image of the city is related to the public perception as the target of the planned image. Thus, the conclusion can be drawn that the image of the new cities City Deltamas based on the concept of green city is not complete yet apply the concept of green city because of the results of new researchers are 5 or 30% of the benchmarks to be met as a green city, and from the perception of a new society are 6 or 40% of the benchmark.,
