This thesis is a research on the prevention of underage marriage organized by the Office of Religious Affairs, Kiaracondong District. Prevention of underage marriage with the aim of providing socialization about the age of marriage and understanding of marriage, reducing the divorce rate. Underage marriages are given to prospective teenage brides who are still underage, and parents of teenage brides. This study will answer three problem formulations, namely as follows: 1) How does the Extension Office of Religious Affairs socialize the rules of underage marriage to the people of Cicaheum Village? 2) How does the Extension Office of Religious Affairs approach the community of Kelurahan Cicaheum to prevent underage marriage? 3) What is the form of socialization for extension workers in preventing underage marriage? This study aims to determine how important it is to socialize about the prevention of underage marriage. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The research location is at the Office of Religious Affairs, Kiaracondong District. There are two sources of data in this research, namely primary data sources, namely data directly obtained from informants, namely the religious affairs office counselor, the mother of TP-PKK Cicaheum Village and the opinion of parents who have teenage children. While secondary data sources are generated from important documents, namely material on Law No. 16 of 2019, journals on efforts to prevent underage marriages. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews and observation. The data analysis technique gets data from primary and secondary sources, then performs a descriptive analysis to describe the facts according to field conditions using field analysis. The results of this study state that underage marriage The success of this Islamic counseling guidance can be known through the short and long term.
