Latar belakang permasalahan ini yaitu masih banyak siswa kesulitan dalam menulis paragraf deskripsi karena siswa sulit untuk berimajinasi dan penggunaan kosa kata yang belum maksimal. Dengan hal ini peneliti menggunakan metode example non example dan hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan.
